Principal Consultant & Strategist | Spark Purpose By Design LLC

As a strategic branding and experience design consultant, I help brands—from Fortune 100 companies to startups—develop impactful brand strategies, product experiences, and marketing campaigns. My expertise spans creative storytelling, product innovation, and cross-functional collaboration, allowing businesses to captivate audiences from ideation to launch. By leading executive workshops and conducting stakeholder interviews, I ensure that business strategies are informed by customer insights and market trends. I also provide fractional leadership to guide teams in designing seamless, integrated, and immersive brand experiences across CPG, tech, and health sectors.

2022 – 2024

Vice President of Strategy | Enlisted Design

At Enlisted Design, I led a strategy group that drove millions in revenue through brand strategy and creative leadership. I developed integrated marketing strategies and oversaw the execution of 25+ strategy programs for startups, national consumer brands, and global enterprises. My approach established strategy as a core discipline and helped businesses achieve measurable results. I led Pattern’s rebranding, aligning fragmented offerings into a unified architecture, improving product marketing, and enabling end-to-end service redesign. My leadership of a cross-functional strategy team led to significant client growth, and my efforts on a national retainer account generated over 20% of the studio's annual revenue. A key achievement was the successful launch of a novel pet product brand, which led to national retail distribution.

2018 – 2021 

Creative Director, Experience Design | Swerve Creative 

As Creative Director, I provided strategic direction on branding and experiential marketing projects for global tech and health-tech clients. I developed immersive customer experiences and digital marketing strategies for leading companies such as Cisco, Salesforce, and GE. My role included crafting brand marketing playbooks and overseeing creative development across digital platforms. I also co-led business development efforts, generating over $1M in revenue from a single account. My work emphasized creative direction, UX/UI design, and multi-channel campaign execution, ensuring timely delivery and cross-platform success.

2012 – 2018

Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Brand Marketing | Kuli Kuli, Inc. 

As co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, I built Kuli Kuli into a market-leading health food brand, growing sales from zero to $2M and securing $4.25M in funding from The Kellogg Company. I led cross-channel marketing strategies that drove brand engagement, achieving a 42% increase in sales. My efforts spanned brand strategy, influencer marketing, digital media, and SEO, boosting the company’s online presence and driving significant e-commerce growth. Through strategic partnerships with Johns Hopkins and leading researchers, I positioned moringa as a valuable nutritional product, resulting in widespread distribution at over 2,500 retail points.

2013 – 2015

Design Director & Sr Brand Packaging Designer | SGK / Anthem Worldwide

At SGK/Anthem Worldwide, I led branding and packaging design for major CPG brands, including Walmart, Smuckers, and Safeway. I guided teams in developing brand identities, product segments, and packaging solutions that resonated with consumers. One key project was the successful relaunch of Pop Secret, where I introduced a novel segment that secured retail success. My workshops with companies like Kellogg’s and Del Monte helped integrate design thinking into their product innovation processes, enhancing brand visibility and consumer engagement.

2007 – 2012

Designer | Michael Osborne Design & Joey’s Corner 

At Michael Osborne Design, I developed branding and packaging systems for specialty food brands, CPG, and natural grocery retailers like Whole Foods and Sam’s Club. My work focused on creating visually compelling brand identities and packaging designs that resonated with consumers in the natural food and beverage markets. I also led design projects for non-profits, developing branding and marketing materials for organizations such as BUILD and Yosemite Conservancy, further expanding my expertise in non-profit branding and community-focused design.
